In the morning, we went to the Gansu Provincial Museum in Lanzhou. This museum had a large exhibition that showed the history of the Silk Road as well as artifacts from it. There was a very famous horse statue in the museum… I think it was called the Galloping Horse. The museum also had a dinosaur exhibit! Such were my two days in Lanzhou. I discovered how truly big China is, subjected myself to heavy particulates in the air which made my drippy nose, I hitched a ride in a coal delivery truck and traveled an entire day in the wrong direction to be here! I am here in another city, enjoying myself and looking forward to moving onward to someplace healthier.

... really good, really big chunks of fish, it turned out to be eel!! not the same texture as fish but it didn't really taste of anything, once you got over the texture it was fine!!

After dinner we checked out the rest of the night market, which was massive and really cheap!! we bought ourselves fold up pocket chopsticks!!

We both would have liked to stay there another day at least but China is too big so we had to move on!!
