... had to do was turn up and follow the plans set. The first class was one 28 year old man called Allen. I had never taught one on one up till now and I have never taught someone older than me so it was a weird experience but I think I did okay. The second class was four 23 year old girls and being my father's son, I confess that I think I spent more time flirting than teaching (They were flirting in English so I was teaching ... honest).
... upstaged my students (think I will always be a performer deep down haha) and we received a standing ovation from the audience. What made it funny though was that there was a second class performing that day in which were my 4 students who I teach privately. One of my favorite conversations of the evening is with a student who had surprised me during the first day introductions with his BBC-accented English. He tells me that ...
... science people discussed viruses and computer worms. We also learned about the differences between IQ and EQ, the concepts of "paying it back" and "paying it forward," the benefits of running, and medieval architectural styles, to name only a few lesson topics.

Looking back now, it was quite funny I suppose and now I have typed this, I doubt I will live it down so instead I will sign off (will be writing more blogs over the next few days the lack of blogs has been due mostly to a furry arrival. More on him next time).
