at the front (not abiding by the unwritten one way rule) you may find yourself
scowled at by the locals, I was lucky enough to have been informed of this
before hand as the ride was a success.
Heading into town I got a flutter of excitement as I spotted
the famous Marina Bay Sands Hotel and the tall metal trees of Gardens by the Bay
... a little fishing village, it became a thriving city. They talked about the British colonization, the japanese war and the independence. At the end there was even a little boat ride going through the modern buildings and symbols of Singapore. After that we went to Madame Tussauds (which is linked to Images of Singapore). ... you got close to the edge however, the photo opportunities were excellent if you dare look. We took a cab to Faber Mountain to catch the cable car over to Sentosa and then took another cable car across the Island - it looks a fabulous place full of fun things to do including, swimming, zip wiring, Bob sledding and loads of water activities.
