Terri and I spent several hours walking Arab Street. Unfortunately the Mosque and the Heritage Museum were closed so we could only see the fašades. We did take a few pictures which you will see below.
this evening Terri, Mike and I went to Rhubarb's, a small french restaurant that they had enjoyed on their 25th anniversary. It was exceptional and we had a great evening. The chef's table menu was very special. The photos say it all.

We were a bit hot and sweaty by then and by the time we made it to Johor Bahru, couldn't be bothered to search for a proper taxi and instead got ripped off by a "coupon" taxi. The MRT/bus cost under $10 SGD for 2ad 1ch. And the taxi was 29 ringit. The taxi meter said 11 by the time we got to the apartment but the driver acted dumb and purposely got into the right lane when we said left and pretended like he was lost. We did 3 ...
The night time plans were drinks on Clarke quay so we whizzed back to change and freshen up and headed out. Unfortunately Steve had been suffering from tooth pain all day and it rather came to a head whilst we were out. So after 1 Singapore sling we decided that our evening plans were to go to a hospital....so off Steve, Lian and I went to Raffles Hospital! They were very good, and thanks to our great bupa cover he was seen and done and dusted within an hour.
... The murtabak was amazing too, it was also served with a sauce to dip it in and was a real change from anything we had eaten on our travels so far. The next day we went sightseeing, we started off by getting the MRT towards the financial region. We navigated our way through the roads with sky scrapers towering over us to find a place we had researched for breakfast. The cafe served a very odd but traditional breakfast from Singapore that was made up of toast with coconut ...
... interior and exterior gardens that cover the 4 biggest and most diverge Flora's we got here on earth (Mediterranean, Asian, African and South America). All most all gardens are free to enter and are a gift from the city for there people to improve there quality of life. After walking around for some hours we take the bus back to Suzanne. Where we go directly to "Holland Village" (expat town) near by to catch up and to have some Indian curry. Tomorrow Yogyokarta, ...
