    ... speak some English and asked us where we were going. She said she was in college and was working in the restaurant for some extra cash. Lovely to speak to someone who speaks English. 13.30pm.     ... attractions in Nanning include Guangxi Museum, People’s park (White Dragon Park) with the Zhenning Fort, Mount Qingxiu, Guangxi Medicinal Herb Botanical Garden, and Yangmei Ancient Town.     ... just what you need after a 10 hour coach adventure. We bashered up in a cheapy hotel opposite the station and bought the first train ticket out of Nanning for Guilin the following morning.

An hour or so later we went up one level for great meal, some Chinese beer and NZ wine.
