      As we got up this morning the ship was arriving in Laem Chabang which is the nearest port to Bangkok in Thailand. The nearest city to Laem Chabang is Pattaya and Bangkok itself is about a 2 hour drive away by coach.

      ... want to sit up on the top deck. No worries though as Thai,s have a solution ,give every body a standard sized buoyancy aid ,biff boff sorted! As the boat was very full I sat right at the back in the open! The last time I visited the island ,there were a few fishermen's huts at one end and very quiet beaches.       ... both sides of the street, there is plenty to see and most definately enough action to get involved with if thats your cup of tea!!! Gogo bars, Ladyboys and Red Lights acompanied by dozens of prostitutes are the main attractions and they really draw their customers in.
