... was when I used the machines at Heathrow to get refunds on our 2 Oyster cards. I got the full 5 deposit back, plus the remaining funds. So I hadn't made a mistake in getting the cards like I originally thought I had. It's telling that we left Australia saying that we have to stay 2 nights at every pit stop during a road trip but now that we are in New Zealand we agree that 3 nights is a minimum. There is too much to explore and we question every departure: "It couldn't possibly be as nice as this". Oh yes, it ALL was as nice.

... to lock the car keys in the boot, and for some reason there was no way of accessing the boot from inside the car. We had to call the AA to send someone out, who had to send for someone else to help as they needed tools to basically pull apart the backs seats and get through, result!
