Didn't do much today, we got picked up by one of Jen's cousins and went to the Nanning Zoo. Well what a disappointment, the big cats were in small in closures rill of mud and no green rass at all, it was discussing. The ones that were not in there they were in concrete cages and nothing like their environment. All in all it was a great disappointment that the would treat these animals like this. Today we were picked up by one of Jen's old class mates Song and his family. They took us all the way to the Detian waterfalls about 250 Kms away. It was a trip to be remembered in several ways. Firstly I was at the mercy of a male Chinese driver for a total of 500 Kms. ... there 2 nights in order to sort out our sleeper train to Vietnam. Nice hostel with a really nice, cheery Chinese girl with absolutely amazing English in charge.
