... were doing an asado and if we went to buy some meat then we should join in. It was 9.30 so we went to the shop quickly before it closed. We then had an amazing asado. The meat here is even better than in Argentina. We had beers and chatted while Marcelo cooked the asado to perfection. ... Montevideo yesterday, has driven over to Punta early in the morning to meet us at the pier at 9 AM. ... of locals. We decided that it must be good value, so lined up for a hamburguesa con todo, and a milanesa, both of heroic proportions, for a reasonable, but not cheap price. We made an attempt on these sitting down, but decided to walk with them, as we were limited for time. We would have liked more time to be able to sit and eat in one of the trendy restaurants, and soak in the atmosphere, which seems to be the done thing here.
