... so much regret and frustration. Sigh

2.Kuredu- no kids club but it has children's pool. Perfect sandbank. water villas not accessible to kids.No house reef

3.Meeru- has babysitting services. No sandbank. Big, active island. No house reef.

4.Vilamendhoo- has babysitting service. No sandbank. Small, intimate island. Excellent, accessible house reef

The first day was a lot of information, getting to know the people a bit and a lot of relaxing. We also went to one of the islands to get a chance to buy stuff, before we left the harbour.

For the next 6 days it was diving non stop. 3 to 4 dives a day, different locations, different atolls and different fish.

... I have a very clear snapshot memory of my 23 yr old self, close to tears, lost in a surging mob of local people trying to buy a ticket for a domestic flight to Cochin.
It's all very civilised these days, quite westernised, even queues (of a sort ).

We are having a great time here in the Maldives. The first day we had a dive check first thing in the morning to make sure everyone could work their gear and to establish dive groups. We have in our group usually 6 or 7 people. There is quite a variety of nationalitys on board, People from Britain, Spain, Germany, Holland and we are the only Canadians! After two dives on the first day, Tina one of the guides tells us we will be doing a night dive for ...
