The shuttle has generally become a routine slick operation, aside from the terminals, and so it was today. Coming back was very similar, with equally long queues at the French passport control, and the British, but the trains are quite effective.

... and miles. Once we reached Dunkirk we stopped at the hypermarket to buy wine and cheese. After we had shopped we drove to Gravelines,situated between Dunkirk and Calais. It doesn't seem like 8 months since we arrived here, to set out across Europe.We parked at the aires at the small port and after paying at the meter went for a walk. It's a lovely afternoon. ... it is huge) was delicious a lot more kirsch flavoured than we are used to, a pastry base, three layers of chocolate cake and lots of cream. It was absolutely delicious but we were glad we still had nearly 10km to go so we could work a little of it off :0).
