Caught the train to Menton this morning, after a battle with the ticket machine. With a minute to spare, a nice woman helped us purchase our tickets from the machine...the lineup for the ticket counter was a mile long because the Celebrity Silhouette was in port and everyone was trying to get on the train. For about 3 Euros, we took the 20 minute train ride and then walked down to the old town which ...

Well, I'd like to live in Monaco. My goodness is it gorgeous!!

We started our morning by catching a bus from Nice to Monaco. For anyone looking for a similar route, I definitely recommend taking the 100 bus. It was only 1.50 euro for a 45 min bus ride along the coast - doesnt get much better!! By far the best decision we could have made. It was quite striking. The old fort must have been hundred of years old but in its new reincarnation as a museum it was perfectly preserved.
Next I will tell about St. agnes wow was that different. We are getting ready now to meet John and Marybeth in ...

... a few pics before heading in... There's actually very little of the inside of the casino that you can see unless you are a high roller with access to the private rooms, so we tried out the washrooms and then left. We had a kitchen during our stay in Nice so we cooked a lot of our meals there. We loaded up on food on our first trip to the grocery store. We bought about 38 euros worth of food and gave the cashier 40 euros. Our change was 35 ...

... high panoramic views of the resort of Menton and sweaty palms and bum for Monsieur. A road sign indicates that vehicles over 8 metres long should not attempt to ascend to the camp site. The motorhome with the bikes on the back is about 7.5 metres, Monsieur debates whether to use this as an excuse to skip Menton but looks over to Madame's smiling face, sensibly decides against it and grits his teeth. For Monsieur, it's hair-raising, some of ...
