... Bay on Sydney Harbour... Driving into the municipality of Monte Carlo (with its police force clearly on show at the entry point) the evidence of wealth went up to a whole new level. Every luxury brand seemed to be represented with a magnificent city centre shop front - Maserati, Rolls Royce, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci etc. The streets and buildings looked very well maintained as though no expense had been spared. We walked from the bus stop down to the casino ...

Monaco was not on holiday so we picked a perfect day to spend there. We got to walk the race track and reminisce about our F1 experience back in Singapore. We visited the Palace apartments, walked into the lobby of the casino and had a picnic. We bought a bottle of wine and bagette sandwiches, found a bench with a view and relaxed.
