This post is just to walk you through my journey to University from my flat!  It is usually to cold early in the morning to walk, so I usually take the bus!  Today the weather was bearable so I decided to make the 30-40 minute walk to the school I am attending, Manchester Metropolitan University.  Right when I step outside my flat I am standing right in front of the Holy Innocents Church of England.  This is the church I can see from my bedroom window, which is ...

Hey all! So, after eight fabulous weeks in Liverpool it's time to set sail again! This time on a bit of a mad four month jaunt around South America. In the mean time Nat was able to have a lovely conversation, haul 2 bags off the carousel, use up her half an hour free internet and have a sit down. We came to realise we were in America when we hopped into a yellow cab and the taxi co-ordinator was heckling "bay 2 all day, all day" whilst the taxi man was pondering over if our hostel was actually in New ...

The skies cleared today, and by this afternoon, St Helens was bright and sunny! A perfect day for a nice lunch and a visit with Aunt Audrey, and a walk about the town.

We met Barry’s Great Aunt Audrey, her daughter Janet, and grand-daughter Claudia at the Charcoal Grill. Aunt Audrey is 93 years young, and was married to Barry’s Grandmother’s brother. We spent a leisurely lunch catching up. Oh, to be half as spry and half as ...
