After a lush well needed sleep we wet down for some breakfast and text Cerys and Nathan to see if they were having breakfast too. It was nice to take our time and after we'd finished we walked up to them as we'd decided to rent scooters today. After we'd sorted everything out we didn't actually end up setting off until gone midday but after having a practice run we soon got going. Cerys and Nathan both had a scooter each to stop any arguments, but Eiry ...

... hammock (which somehow we managed to both squeeze into). And that's how we spent the evening, until we decided that more food was necessary and we went to the restaurant on the bay. We spent most of the night there, as we had a prime spot for watching the fireworks that were going off all along the bay. As we neared the big countdown, we headed to a bar for a few drinks and then found a good spot on the beach to watch the fireworks. We have realised that ...

... It was a pleasant enough view, but it wasn't really worth the struggle. We decided that we would continue on to the next view point, as hopefully it would be fairly flat along the top. However, we soon ran out of footpath and ended up on some slightly overgrown land. Kim had a snake run out in front of her and we soon decided to turn round and try a different direction! Our second attempt was no more successful and we gave up and walked back, ...
