    Full Moon Party

Finally the full moon party day was here! We made sure we shopped for our neon and brightly coloured vest tops and hair accessories along with our buckets and alcohol to fill them with - we felt a lot safer making our drinks ourselves then buying it from a beachside stall. We made sure we had our afternoon nap as our plan was to go out as late as possible to watch the sunrise. We got all dressed up and made our way down to the beach for about ...

    Day 7 - Koh Tao

... chairs for us and our own decking area to relaxed right in front of the private beach for the resort. We sat and relaxed all day whilst I came sadly close to finishing my Jill Mansell book and Ben started READING ONE OF MY OTHER BOOKS (can you believe it?!). After swimming in the sea and relaxing outside our shack we had a nice shower and went to the hotel ...

We hadn't booked accommodation in advance and after getting off the ferry we were immediately surrounded by touts offering cheap deals. We chose one who showed ...

... a thai island when you don't know how to ride one..... Needless to say 10 minutes later, when I was just starting to feel confident, as I pulled off from a junction the bike skidded out from under me and across the floor. Given that I must have been going a maximum of 10 mph the damage was limited, but of course only wearing flip flops meant that my foot & elbow took the worst. Thankfully an English girl rescued me & the bike from the road ...

... the blog updated. I spent some time getting a plan together ready for Kris' arrival, which basically consisted of getting back to Koh Tao! I booked bus tickets from Bangkok to Chumphon, then ferry tickets from Chumphon to Koh Tao, researching hotels, prices & timings of ferries to Koh Samui, hotels in Koh Samui and the best way to get back to Bangkok which ended up being a flight. Even with 12 years of experience in the ...
