... Bangkok to a teacher hiring fair. I ended leaving the family for a few days to try to find a job. The job fair was very interesting. I was able to get about 8 interviews and meet lots of educators from around the world. I was a little disappointed though because there were no middle school science job openings in Thailand and very few in Malaysia and Indonesia at this fair. Most of the recruiters are still waiting to go to other fairs. Let's ...

... After 45 minutes of confusion we jumped onto a bus which took us 15 minutes away to a port where we boarded a catamaran fast boat. I cant describe how bad a crossing we had...a 1 1/2 hour trip felt like an eternity. I genuinely thought it was going to flip as it rocked side to side and up and down. Me and Krystal stayed in there for a good hour and it was so nice. The water is actually warm where it was so hot here! We decided to have an early night because we had a snorkeling ...

... minutes waiting for my 'friend' to descend we then navigated the dive sight. I had spent ages learning how to use the compass but in the end the tasks were so simple i didn't need it. The first was to swim in a straight line then return who needs a compass for that! Then swim in a square and then swim back to the buoy after the dive. This one was really fun since Luke let us lead the dive. Again I didn't use ...

At the airport, we checked in our luggage and had a little stroll around, realizing that we would soon be boarding a plane homeward bounds. The two flights to Surat Thani were not too bad, as we got free snacks and coffee. Arriving in Surat Thani we reclaimed our bags and found a travel company to find out about transport to Koh Phangan. Finding a couple of different options we went for the cheapest and decided to sleep on the boat that night and so quickly jumped in a taxi to ...
