    ... version, has only 13k's on the clock when we picked it up. Back to Chamonix and we popped down to watch the Climbing World Cup. We were drinking a beer, sitting in the square and life was pretty grand. Check out the guy hanging on the Zlagboard. This was attracting all the macho-men.     ... by the cable cars to Chamonix. Our day was far from over however as we then boarded an alpine train which took us to the Mer de Glace, or Sea of Ice, in other words, a place to view a glacier. We were there for several hours and enjoyed another cable car adventure down to a lower level which was closer to the glacier. More stairs.     So we picked up some wine and hopped in a taxi home (mostly to save shivering Bailey) to get things prepared before everyone else arrived.
