Wales and England - AMAZING. We arrived on Friday 16th October. We launched straight into sightseeing mode and went directly to the Roman Baths in Bath. What a groovy town Bath is. The next day was the Dr Who Experience in Cardiff. This probably rated as James' most favourite tourist attraction. That afternoon Paul and James went to the Semi Final of New Zealand v France. Our country v The Country we live in. The rest is history. ...

    The Kitchen !

... potato dish with local cheese. My storage container of duck fat grows, as the recipe for duck confit steadily improves. The refrigerator now boasts a minimum of five different cheeses, one of two which are exceedingly smelly, and permeate the kitchen every time the frig door is opened. All I need now is a good old fashioned French Grand Mother who knows the finer points of the regional cuisine and the patience to teach me. 6th September. The sun is still shining and warm. We have arrived not far from the snow topped mountain of Mont Blanc at a campsite called 'Les Domes de Miage' where jeans were changed to shorts and we sat outside in the sun, the day is perfect. We can see Mountains capped with snow around us but not sure if any is the Mont Blanc from where we are but we had an awesome look at it on our drive here. We have all done some laundry, showered, fed and are going to relax for ...

... and stuff - can't remember exactly - that says it all doesn't it?) From Martigny, we were catching the Mont Blanc Express. There wasn't much at Martigny station - certainly no staff or an information desk. We found a timetable near a siding - there was construction work and we'd have to take a bus for about 28 minutes. That was okay - I'd suspected construction from someone's comments on Trip Adviser. Even though it ended up adding ...
