... evening we had a super night with Cousin Dan and Sheila in their very nice village of Scotch Corner (I think a population of 350). After very sad good byes we are now back in Chamonix. It's always hard leaving Aunty Chris and Neville. Interesting for us, Chamonix felt like "coming home". The snow is further down the mountain, the trees are all golden and we are now off to watch NZ v Australia in the Grand Final. Go the Mighty All Blacks. ...

    The Kitchen !

... out a “whoo” sound not unlike what you would hear on a roller coaster. This roller coaster like feeling was much more like a free-fall feeling on the way down as opposed to just a bumpy rock on the way up.
Once at ground level, our guide led us through the charming streets of Chamonix to an Italian brasserie, which included lunch as part of our tour. It would turn into our main meal of the day. A ...

... we headed to Sallanches to look for a new car. While we were there we went to a toy shop (as good as Toyco) and thanks to Aunty Susan, James bought a Lego Minecarft Garden. Again, Paul cooked up a stunning meal. What is it about being in France? It is just like a Michelin Star Restaurant around here. As always, loving Chamonix. ...
