Continued to head south of Madrid to Spain's Mediterranean coast to visit a desert area where many of Hollywood’s classic westerns were made in the old days. We were told it was an area worth visiting by a couple of Germans we bumped into. By Australian standards pretty ordinary, but for Europeans something quite different.

Got out of Berlin in the early evening and set out for Munich. I navigated to a forest that I had seen on the map and parked up for the night. I was roused from my slumber by banging on the side of the camper and looked out the window to see army fatigues. Surely I haven't ****** of the German army already? Thinking I would ask how it felt to finish second in two world wars I stepped from the van only to realise that my new ...

... to see another side of Mount Blanc , but now the weather had closed in ,the higher we went the more rain, wind and cloud. By the top it was again freezing cold with very little visability. How lucky we were the 3 days leading up to today ( & tomorrow was rain and low visability) we have had the best weather and such an unbelievable day! Down the mountain for the last time to a glass of red and well deserved bed! ...
