... so foreign and I was naive enough to believe that I would never experience it during this adventure. Another reminder that pursuing your dream doesn't exempt you from life's challenges. Anyway, we quickly decided that the Philippines would be our next destination and thanks to Air Asia's great rates we were able to book our tickets and re-join the queue. It was only when we were safely secure in our seats that we could relax again. 14 hours later we arrived in Abu ...

... and that was where we stayed for the rest of the day. We were both enjoying the heat which was both comfortable and very enjoyable after being so cold in Japan. We read our books and as the weather improved took regular dips in the sea, lovely. All that was left to do at the end of the day was potter back to the hotel, have dinner at our favourite cafe and start to plan our time in ...

... of where to go, plus I just followed to Americans and some girl just followed us. Turns out, I didn't look at the card well enough. I had though I must have passed my road, only to be at least half way there. Asking a kid got me in the wrong direction, but asking a parking cop, I found my way. The first place I entered was uber nice. A heritage building, as all of Georgetown is, with modern rooms inside. Simple rooms. Bed. Table. Shared bathroom. And it was in the price ...
