... of monkeys and the piped Chinese music from the temple. There were lots of statues, including a mermaid, a giant turtle, huge mushrooms, dragons and Donald Duck. There was a Virgin Mary-esque goddess with flashing halo and incense.

... couldn’t find any. The security lady pointed us in a direction but it was towards the ferry. Maybe we were supposed to buy tickets as we boarded the ferry. When we got to the ferry we found out that the original ticket we had bought for the ferry was also a return ticket. We rode our luck as she was kind enough to let us on the ferry, as we had lost ours.

... started to ask a few people how we were meant to order as we were a bit unsure.

We were just about to leave when Annabelle found a little man who was cooking noodles outside for less than 1 a plate, so we decided to give them a go and took a seat under the nearest fan.

... Weird. I eat my rice and chicken, which wasn't nearly as good as the black pepper chicken the day before, but still tasty. I'm still working on how to find a good eatery.
I wander around a bit at dusk, seeing some neat buildings, but growing tired of the rain and my POS umbrella. I head back for another laydown, why not, I have all the time I the world. The rain let's up at about the same time I get thirsty and need some snacks for my trek the next day. I ...

... hands it was fixed within few minutes. Another 20 km to our destination. we cross a very tall bridge, where you can oversee a shipping wharf. Very interesting and beautiful area. The trees are full of monkeys, but before i was able to take a picture, they already disappeared.
Arrived in sitiawan, we checked in Crystal hotel. Pleasant dinner at a night market with cheese tofu. Too tired from the last 2 nights- bed time at 0:00..
