Chalet Time - Deeep clean!

It was our turn to cool tonight but since Sandrine couldn't get to the shops we didn't have a lot of food to work with or practice the menu plan so Tim whipped up a couple of Frittatas, a goats cheese pie, nicoise salad and a chocolate cheesecake - so we had a lovely informal dinner tonight. Training Week
... Had a good nap. Recieved a cerftificate to say we had completed training. Were meant to have dinner with Charles & Ants but they swapped kitchens so had dinner with Alex and after we all went down to Bar La Roz for a couple of drinks & because we could have a slightly longer lay in tomorrow. Everyone seems really friendly and we have a good mix of people in our group. Lovely Layover
The least expensive ticket we could book from Amsterdam to Paris happened to have a 10 hour layover in Geneva, Switzerland. Lucky for us this gave us a chance to bop around this BEAUTIFUL city.
We got off the plane and found that the train was free to get from the airport into central Geneva (score!). We wandered directly down from the train station to Lake Geneva where we saw a bridge covered with Swiss flags and Geneva's flags, docks ...

... made of Gruyère cheese and bread. It was good and gen loved it but if I am going to be honest, I don't need to eat it again...perhaps I'd dip my raw vegetables in the cheese but when in Switzerland do what the Swiss do. I made a nice large salad and washed down the cheese with salad and hot tea. Gen is feeling better and is tolerating food again which is nice and just in time for Germany where she swears we will find the best food... W'll have to see about that ...
