Well here we are back in beautiful Switzerland, this time in Geneva. They still have their own funny coloured money, they still have strange powerpoints, it is still very expensive but this time they are all French. Now that I have got the hang of Italian I have now got to change my Si's back into Oui's and my Grazia's back into Merci's.

Our home for a couple of days is our first AirBNB rental which is great, although just a ...

... you can see this beautiful metaphor come to life (see pictures). It’s so easy to get caught up in our struggles and the effort that it takes to get past them, we often miss the bigger picture. It was lightly raining when we landed in Geneva, Switzerland a few minutes ago. We had a good flight over from Washington D.C. We liked the airline seats that convert into beds, and we were able to doze and sleep a little. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to charge my iPad and our iPhones on the plane, but upon settling into our seats, we found that the outlets for charging are built into each seat. We flew over on a Boeing 767, and I am hoping that our Boeing 777 on the ...

... is broadcasting the Eurovision Song Contest. For those of you who don’t know the Eurovision Song Contest is a competition involving singers from around “Europe”. I put Europe in parentheses because they have a very loose definition of what constitutes Europe –basically you have to be culturally European. Hence Israel, Azerbaijan and other countries that geographically lie outside of Europe get to compete. Each country gets to choose one band ...
