We’ve had the same hotel attendant here for two nights who is very good at his job and has helped us with booking today’s adventure as well as printing out boarding passes for tomorrow night’s dinner cruise, following our visit to the United Nations, located on the site of the former League of Nations.

It rained all day!! We decided to take the train as far as we could towards Switzerland (15mins) to Vallorcine and had lunch in a cute little restaurant recommended to us by our camp ground. ... the hike was very steep downhill. (Tomorrow we go up!) We passed plenty of cows and sheep and a few donkeys. No wild life, but the birds were singing to us while we trekked through the forest and many of the cows and sheep jingled their bells as we passed.
