... 32 degrees Fahrenheit, and the sun was beaming down enough to keep us warm.
We took our time, stopping for a drink at the intermediate level. There, people were free to walk around. We saw donkeys as well as people who had set up a tent. We were very excited to see blue sky when we woke up! Since the wether was good we decided to take the cablecar up Grands Montets. We only went half way and got off at Lognan (1972m) and hiked for 45mins to the Glacier d'Argentiere. It was beautiful! Mat did an extra little hike up to the snow line. In the end, really, it just looked like a bunch of big metal things in really bright colours stuck together. I guess maybe it would be more impressive if I was a physicist? Anyway, all in all, it was still cool to be able to say that I was underground with the LHC. So yay. :D Unfortunately, that was my whole morning gone and I had plans to do other things. Never ...

Today I had the opportunity to spend all day in the search work for English-speaking people. We began this morning by looking in the white pages for English-sounding names and then calling them on the phone. I got to speak to a really nice British woman. After some phone witnessing me, Masuma, Elise, and Carole drove to the Les Gets ski resort, which was about 35 min away. During the summer, there are still plenty of people ...
