... indeed the steepest on tour, we moved below the snow line and into the trees and eventually back into the god forsaken cloud for, thankfully, the final time. It was a continuously long and steep descent until we finally reached the mountain zoo after about 3hrs from Brèvent. It was mainly a road walk from here, before entering a final section of forest descent past the big Jesus statue and then down to our hotel for the night.

... drive around the lake front and park about 1km from the centre and walk back to town along the lake taking lots of photos, its very nice and hot and it gets hotter into the afternoon.
