It poured with rain the whole night and we awoke to freezing cold and wet. We decided to take a walk across to Chamfer to visit Stef before walking to St. Moritz to do some banking stuff. The rain had stopped by this time and after a cup of coffee with Stef we walked to St. Moritz via Signal Berg Station which entailed a steep walk up a mountain.

Another cold day so we decided to pack up camp and drive down to Livigno in Italy for the day. Livigno is a very well known ski resort in Northern Italy which is very popular with South Africans. I've always been keen to see the place since a friend of mine goes there fairly regularly.

The weather forecast is predicting rain for the next few days so we took advantage of possibly our last good weather to hike up to a glacier above Lago Blanco. We caught the train down to Bernina from where we walked around Lago Blanco and then up to Sassol Mason.
