You come to New Orleans, you really should do a paddle steamer ride down the Mississippi River. We took a ride on the Natchez... only I'm gonna call it Steamboat Ninny. You could've done a lunch cruise, whereby you sat in the dining room and had a three course meal as you cruised along listening to jazz music, plus a fella telling you facts about the river as we floated along.

... as they were only twenty five cents each. I rarely eat at upscale restaurants so I tried foods that took my palate outside of the comfort zone. Though I come from a small fishing town on the south shore of Boston, fish has never been of keen interest to me. The spices used in New Orleans for the crustaceans and various fishes in the city were unbelievable. My opinion of fish has changed!

I decided to walk back to the hotel where I had a bit of work to do. ...

... way plus there is a lot of constructions. We managed to find a parking lot for $16 near the hotel and checked in. Since we have both been to New Orleans we really didn’t have a plan. I grabbed a map and we decided to just walk through the French Quarter and Jackson Square. It was a pretty quiet evening for New Orleans. Of course we didn’t go ...
