The first part of the lesson was a little chaotic as there were 14 students, 3 instructors and confusion as to who was in whose group. We skied a little way down, they assessed us on a steep mogul field and asked us our preferences. I choose to avoid the off-piste mogul field group as conditions are very icy and the un-groomed snow is like concrete.
... and sunshine since, the snow is melting and causing the paths around the lake to be very icy. I managed to walk 8.5 km without getting lost, but had to retrace my path as the loop around the lake is blocked and completely covered in snow.
