... my forehead), and generally kept peace throughout the flight on seats 31 E and F (very good. I deserve another pair of high heeled shoes).

Upon landing in Geneva the airport fairies continued with our good luck, our luggage was off in 30 seconds - no word of a lie! Out the door, passed our first whiff of fresh bread and chocolate, train passes signed and validated for our month long stay and onto the train seamlessly in 30 minutes!

... pastures and all surrounded by the spectacular mountains. The trail was a bit of a challenge as it was quite steep (at least it was going down) and had a lot of loose rocks. You had to concentrate on where you put your feet as it was quite easy to slip or trip.

It took us over 2 hours to get down, but by then the gondola had shut for the evening. So, now how to get back up to Murren...we were NOT going to hike back up and there are no roads ...

... back to the Fun Park which had better snow and less busy than the Plateau. Joel found a shovel and he heaped fresh snow for us to mould. Never realised how hard it was too make a snowman! Fresh snow doesn’t stick well together, and we fought a losing battle. We settled for more of a pile of snow with a chunk of ice that I tried to shape into a sphere. Adorned with a pair of glasses, hat, scarf, gloves and lipbalm nose we decided it was as good as it got. ...

... shows Ethan across my lap while I try to remove the splinters.

Ethan and I both have a cough that will not go away. We visited a pharmacy in town and we were able to pick up the guifenesin cough syrup with codeine without a prescription! We'll sleep well tonight which will help us both to get better quicker.

We shopped and cooked dinner, and took it easy tonight in the apartment. We hope for another sunny day ...

... to some other runs. From the top of the Wixi chair we cut into KS and left on the Arven run.
At dinner last night a few people were discussing the 'wall'. I had forgotten all aboiut this but I was reminded of this feature of a red run out of KS being a right of passage for the advancing skier. In fact this steep section of red run had been skied by JJ and I without noticing. The reason was that there is now the speed trap down one side and JJ and I have always done this ...
