We managed to get some French TV and the forecast for the next 2 days was for full suns and temps of 16 deg. This meant we should have a good journey through the mountains
We went to bed with hot water bottles and PJ's and hoped that our water pipes didn't ...

It was really busy, filled with all the locals buying their fresh produce for the week. It made me miss the kitchen and wish I could do a cooking class whilst I am here! I wish we had this back home! After a nice walk in the glorious sun (it's going to reach 28 here today!) we began walking home, ...

... to the cable cars that would take us up to Bastille. La Bastille is a small mountain at the crossroads of three valleys. Amy hates heights so I had to do some serious convincing (and lying) to coax her onto the cab cars. They took us up the the top where we admired the view, got a few selfies and enjoyed a coffee. Amy hadn't eaten yet so she also smashed a toasted ham and cheese sandwich- check out the photo. They certainly love their ...
