    Dewali

    On Friday, Shubham, our Indian coworker, invited us to the fourth
    floor to celebrate the Dewali Festival. Other than the fact it was a holiday to
    cook some curry, our host could not tell us much more about it. Howbeit, we
    still had a good time as our hosts, Shabhum and Nathan, invited some other
    people to join us for some curry and drinks.

    ... language. We headed off south to Dagang, which is about 40min drive from school.

    There were around 20 families expected, and the students ranged in age from 3 - 15 years.

    My job was to read them a story as they arrived, and keep them occupied till everyone was there, then we went round the animal farm area together, gave them a resource gift, had lunch and came home! Not too strenuous....
