    ... I think the first border guard we came to was asleep. It took us about 1.30hrs to get through with most of the discussion on the Turkish side. Officials are continually confused, not surprisingly perhaps, by the Export Plates and car registration.     Today the Christmas box team took the highway East 250 miles to Burgas to begin our distributions. On the way, we stopped to see our old friend Marianna Dimitrova, who is an ex-pupil of Lipnitsa Orphanage/School. The Trussell Trust worked together with Mr Petkov, Lipnitsa's headteacher, to help Marianna escape an abusive family situation.
