      ... gross! The music they were playing was very westernised at one sage they played Cotton Eye Jo. There were some "interesting" characters about and it was like nothing i have experienced before but really really fun!       ... great time out here! I did end up getting a bungalow on a beach called Lonely Beach, and stayed there for five nights. The first couple of days were a little lonely, I thought I was friendly, but I guess not quite enough. I enjoyed time on the beach and wandering the village there. I got to know some of the locals which was really cool. After a day or two I started meeting people, and wow did I ever meet people. ...

      ... and Mimi who are also going our way and, not knowing the ropes, we think we might share a taxi to the pier, still quite a way from here but we are directed to a songtheaw. We chat to Lee who is from the UK but has been renovating and now building a house in France. The ride to the pier takes at least half an hour and we realize why the fare was so much.       ... charlie to see the final design for the tattoo. All being well we chilled out and mingled with the locals, which in turn seen leanne in a photo shoot for the tapas! Was soon 5pm time flys when your having fun, and charlie went to set up the bamboo etc..       ... Anyway, totally different first impressions straight away and enroute. So much to se and take in e.g. Pigs lying upside down, several pigs on a motorbike, hundreds of schoolchildren cycling home from school on the chaotic road, a monk photographed in his truck with some Buddas people fishing, and life teeming everywhere but nowhere we would care to stop and eat although we were starving and thirsty.
