Ended up going to bed at 5am, dreading the morning as I had to check out, but I actually feel okay (probably thanks to the toasties last night tbh) and now I am fully excited to get to Aus, meet even more cool people and have an amazing time!

... to find a seat before I can complete check-in. I did most of the check-in procedure yesterday on the internet but didnt print off a boarding card but this only takes a couple of minutes and with immigration being very quiet I am shortly in the departure area. I then have quite a long walk, a train ride beneath the runways then another walk to my departure gate.
The plane departs on time and all in all it is not a bad flight.
