Such a vibrant city with loads going on from bars to Buddhas, food to shopping.

Sadly we both caught the flu it seems so couldn't tell you much yet other than MBK has a roasting food court! and Manders had his first night out solo in two months joining Roger and Charlie for a few drinks in the VW bars of Soi 11.

We met some wonderful people here and were able to experience first hand the hardships and battle that some people face on a daily basis just to stay alive and feed their families. But their resilience and upbeat attitude to life taught me a lot about the human spirit. Most of the people we met were warm and friendly and very welcoming to a couple of westerners who popped in for a bit to try ...

... waiting for our bags, went to eat some food and that is about as exciting as the first part of our stay got. Having a pool was nice
and Lu wanted to make the most of it... her tan is still not up to scratch, her face says it all! Her frown may also have been down to the lack of sleep, due to the building site outside our window. The work started at 7 and continued all day, Steph however slept fine ;-)

The best part ...
