Feeling like we needed one more round of amazing pizza, we headed for arguably the most famous pizzeria in Naples, Sorbillo, and we were shocked to find that we could get a table without waiting. It was pure luck because the night before when we walked by there was a line out the door and sure enough not five minutes after we sat down a line began to form. One of the best ...

We were met at the Napoli Train station by our Chauffeur and it was off to Positano via the scenic route, through the Sorrento and Amalfi Coast's. Simply stunning, breathtaking views the whole way. Marilyn and Kathy head out for dinner and I go looking for a grocery store to buy Paul and I some meat, cheese and bread and of course a bottle of wine for dinner. Paul needs to regroup so he can tackle more stairs that will take us down to the beach and the jet boat, that we will be taking to the Island of Capri. After we eat and he has a glass of wine he ...

    Back to the Roman times

A travel blog entry by joyce.kwong on May 04, 2013

This morning, we had time to visit this unique historical city of Pompeii buried under volcanic ashes for so long.
I have been here before but it was amazing to see it again. A huge site with so much archeologically to see and learn.
It was getting very hot already and we headed to Naples at noon to take train back to Rome that afternoon.
