Oh man. On the bus to Antalya, the woman next to be was viscous with sick. Her fluids seeped into me and I partook in a Turkish flu. Feverish, headache, coughing. I went to Antalya for a day - I was going to stay for three but one was enough. I stumbled around in 106 degree weather before giving in to bed. My hotel was a creaky old ...

On the move again and this time a long haul to Konya on our way to Capadoccia. We stop for lunch on the way more out of need for a loo than food but find ourselves in a pretty classy restaurant halfway down a mountain. The restaurant tables lined the beautiful pebbled clear stream running down the mountain beside us. It was sprinkling but the umbrella looked ample enough to keep us dry. Having learnt from previous ...

... on the main highway. But being Turkey with its excellent network of public transport we did not have long to wait before our shuttle bus arrived from Cirali. We had 2 lovely nights in Cirali, a gorgeous little seaside place with all the accommodation places and eating places set under shady trees. And here we enjoyed our first swim in the Mediterranean Sea! Ah that warm turquoise water with no waves was just fantastic!! How i wished i had had a lilo to just float for ...
