What a nightmare this was, had I known this I would have simply gone down the East side of Stelvio and headed from there. Now I can either travel all the way along the busy road to Tirano or head back up Stelvio pass where I have just come down and head down the east side road.

With my head in a spin I sat there looking at my map for a while and as there ...

... the room or pay now. She said it is part of the half board cost of the room, you only pay for the drinks. Cecilia (Daniela's sister) cooked us dinner at Daniela's house, and the boys were very happy that Igor came too. They have grown quite fond of him! Photos on Paul's phone so will have to add them ...

But these aren't like the apple orchards I'm used to seeing in Pennsylvania, USA. Here the trees are more like narrow bushes, spaced and cut with precision so farm vehicles can go between the rows and workers can pick straight from the truck. No ladders needed here. Interesting to see an Italian orchard ...
