We got up leisurely and ate our croissants in the room and then took off for the Duomo. Walked to Central Station and then took the subway to Duomo. Came up from underground and found the ticket line. The tickets were 15 Euros each for the Duomo, archaeolgical exhibits, the rooftop terrace and the museum. Back in the hotel, we refreshed and after drinks on the balcony we walked a short distance to "Il Salumaio" for dinner.
It was a beautiful balmy evening so we sat outside.
