... we were taken out, thinking we were going to the vegetable market at Lagoa, then back. But we went on to Portimao, then to the shrine of Señora da Rocha and then back around 4.30. So a longer trip out.. But very pleasant. This evening Bill and I went to the fish restaurant on the beach and had Sea Bass - delicious but a little pricey. But isn't that what holidays are ...

... rest of the evening was simply visiting with everyone and enjoying our last night in our hostel! We woke up this morning and sat around the breakfast table, packed up, and then got a ride back to the train station where we caught our train! We are now traveling north and heading towards Lisbon, which is the capital city of Portugal! We are looking forward to our time there, and afterwards we will be heading to Porto! Extremely flat, every street has clearly defined bike lanes, as well as bike lanes everywhere. We picked up are reserved bikes at the harbour, for 13 euros, for the day. We pedalled East along the promenade, through to the next town, Quinteiros, for miles. So picturesque. After a while we ran out of road. ...
