... distance from Vienna! Arrived in Vienna, got ourselves settled then downstairs to meet the group for a walk to get ourselves orientated! We stopped for a bite to eat at an outside cafe!! It started to sprinkle so the cafe put up awnings between the umbrellas! We walked back to the hotel, had a nightcap then off to bed! Both Lacey and I woke up thinking it was time to get up it was only 1:30!!! ...
... the castle was modified in the Baroque and the Rococo style. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily so sightseeing was a little restricted but along with Grant & Saeko we went across the foot bridge from the town and climbed up to the castle. We love this resort so much that we decided to stay another day and night. The photos of Pocatky were taken from a 16th. century bell tower. We were inside at 12 noon but the bells didn't ring. Thank goodness.
Photo of the time keeper's "nest" are included.
We both had massages today.
Left our Prague apartment this morning and drove to this fitness resort. Foot massage for 2 (that's people not feet) at 6 PM. Horseback riding at 10 AM, full body massage at 2 and Jacuzzi at 7:30 tomorrow. We should really be relaxed by Tuesday!!
Great weather, great time.
D & B
Our last travel day (not including tomorrow's long flight home) began at 8:30 after breakfast at the hotel in Prague.
Not too much to report here.
We stopped for a break at the town of Tabor, Czech Republic, where we had about 45 minutes to stretch our legs and grab a coffee. Our last chance to get rid of our Czech Crowns (Money).
From there we completed our trip back to Vienna, Austria, with a stop for lunch along the way.
