Earlier this summer me and Joe went on a cruise with my family and we met some amazing people. When we got back we missed them so much, we had to see them again! We visited Chesapeake to see Dipan, Joel and Kristina. We made it down on a Monday morning after spending a night in RVA. We arrived at Dipans house and were greated by his blob of a pup, Raja, the sweetest waddling thing... and Dipan's smiling face! It was so nice to see him again. We went in and met some of ...

Woke this morning to it being overcast with the odd few drops of rain. We had a great breakfast of cherries, grapes and blueberry and cream cheese muffins. There is a fantastic pool at the campsite so today we are just relaxing. Catching up with some admin and the kids are having fun in the pool. They so love swimming long may it last!!

Well we decided to drive into Virginia Beach and well as luck would have it it started to bucket down making our day ...

Our Passage from Great Abaco to the Chesapeake Bay

On May 15 we departed at 0750 for Norfolk, leaving Marsh Harbour and exiting through the northern Man-O-War ocean pass with winds from the ENE at 15-20 kts. The weather forecast looked good for a non-stop passage to the Chesapeake Bay. Accordingly, our course was a little east of north as we were "aiming" for an entry into the Gulf Stream south of Cape Hatteras. Then we'd ride the stream in the ...
