... not that great, rainy and cool, but Trento came across as a very nice city, very Italian, with an extensive Centro Storico and large, the largest we have encountered, pedestrian area with marble sidewalks as well as main streets (no kidding!). At one point I desperately needed a bathroom break. We stepped into the Information office and I asked the young lady behind the counter for the nearest "washroom". I hoped she would point downstairs. Instead, ...

After spending the morning wandering round Riva del Garda we travelled in to Limone sul Garda for a lovely wander round the cobbled streets and lunch. We had mussels and fish for lunch so in the evening we went to the beach hut for burger and chips and wine for ...

... br> enough as i get to the turn off for the pass road the signs are in green and
saying the pass is open. At last and finally i might just get over this great
          pass.

Bormio and so this road is all new to me from this end.

          First
thing I notice it is a single track road and is extremely rough and bumpy. To
make things worse it hugs the edge of a mountain for ...

... t come out all that great because of the glare from the windows but hopefully you can get an idea! We will be here for only one night and tomorrow we are heading to Lake Garda in the Northern region of Italy. Lake Garda is the largest lake in Northern Italy and we are really looking forward to it! It is also getting quite chilly here so I am ready to head for a little warmer weather! I was very ...

... about 15 km. Well that was until we drove the road north through tunnels and towering cliffs with no shoulder room to ride a bike on. We are now in the most northern part of the lake at Torbole and the scenery all the way up here was spectacular and its fabulous were we have ended up. It rained again for awhile but thats good for siestas and once rested we hopped on ...
