          ... steel girders was a grass paddock when I arrived. Now it is a construction site, probably villas for the European tourist market. Couple of videos, Vid 1 this looks like a strange praying bingo game they do in the temple. They shake the pickup sticks and when one falls out they go to a board and they match the numbers and it tells them their fate. Vid 2 This was a strange seniors aerobics class in a local school yard. Vid 3 street vendor preparing some take away.

          ... Back in the pool I was attempting to do somersaults, I must stress though, ATTEMPTING and not very successfully, I got water up my nose, in my ears, in my eyes (despite wearing goggles) and every time I came up proudly thinking I was successful mum would snort in derision and start laughing.           ... thought was Buddha, a smaller Buddha thing, a turtle and a woman. Apparently the biggest statue was a sea monster that turned into a human when she came out of the water and married another human but when he found out what she really was he left her, which caused her to die of heartache on the hill behind our hotel.           ... to hurt his wing so i tried to push him back through an he bite me and wouldn't let go! eventually he let go and we moved him and the net into the enclosure and untangled him in there so he could fly off as soon as he was untangled. it looked like a happy reunion for the lovebirds!!
          another of the love birds died a few days before, i found him on the floor of his enclosure, still alive but looking very sick. he went to the vets but didn't make it.

          ... for half an hour, 250B for an hour then booked mum and I in at 2 o'clock for a half hour massage.

          Lunch was in Nana and Pa's room and we had saladas, bread, pizza things and bananas.

          Mum and I left them there and went back to get the massage. We got them at the same time as there was two ladies, well mine started 2 minutes after mums. We had the traditional Thai massage and it was so nice - they massaged our feet, ...
