We had a lovely dinner last night at our hotel restaurant. I had baked bass, Eldon had mushroom risotto, and we also had a side salad and a side of green beans. We were in Italy so it didn't cost us an arm and a leg.

We had a lovely buffet breakfast this morning as well. Eldon and I both wonder how these places can afford to stay open and serve such nice meals. I don't think there were more than 3 couples staying here last night.

... People chatted quite a bit in the carriage and moved about to get good photos. I thought of you and Dad often, Mum ... Doing the same trip and loving it! Rather nice to follow in your footsteps. It was just outstanding. I loved it. Would actually just sit back and do it again, soaking it all in. Said goodbye to Gaudenz at Brig. Arrived at Zermatt and very easy to find the hotel. Great day. Many thanks to my travel companion! He's the one with the 'other' red ...

... legible and made sense. Easily buying our Bernina rail tickets, we headed out for a bite to eat before our train was due. The only thing
I saw in the shop that Ken could eat was a banana, so I looked it up in Italian and it's “banana” (same as in spanish). However the waitress did not get it or gluten free and after miming peeling and eating a banana ( very embarrassing) we did manage to get it. This
