    Mitch and I left for Crooked Creek Parking parking lot, Yellowwood State Forest, after work to drop my car off at the end of the trail, well 2 miles shy of the end. We got to Morgan-Monroe State Forest around 8:00 PM and setup camp at the campground. We were the only campers that night and was fortunately the only night we had rain.

    There were no detours today but today was probably the worst hiking day due to all the roads and my knee and foot hurting. The end of the trail, 2 miles out from the car and 2 miles back, was well worth the trip. The end may even be a good starting point to camp at and start off from on our next pass thru.     ... shelter was very nice and allowed us to dry off the tent from the night before. There was plenty of room for 8+ people but found ourselves being the only ones there that night. This was the only night we had a camp fire, about 4 hours worth. Pretty sweet setup.
