... at all like you will find here in the heart of China. If you are anything like me and struggle to stomach large amounts of spicy foods you may have some troubles. To be honest once I overcame this barrier Chinese food has become amazing, from the moment you wake up in the morning till the late hours of the evening China is alive with alluring aromas that are simply to amazing to describe. Food is a very important part of Chinese culture as you will always find familes coming together ...

We said good bye to our friends from No. 6 High School in Zhoucun. Also, the fact that Chinese people are so willing to do these sorts of things for guests is very neat to me. It makes me feel like we American's need to get on the welcoming boat with the Chinese, and treat our guests with as much hospitality as they do to us. Forget Southern hospitality, I want to have Chinese hospitality!

... Auntie, her sister, and her nephew took me to a fancy mountain-side restaurant. We ate like kings and queens, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery all the while. Then back to Zibo it was for me, and many many thanks to Auntie for all her generosity. I couldn't have asked for a better family to have my home-stay with, and even though I wasn't happy about going at first, everything turned out feichang hao (非常好: extremely ...
