Century Riverside has stunning location, room was clean, campus was comfortable with a lot of tree. Restaurant was luxurious, yummy cuisine, especially traditional cuisine. I will comeback if possible.

Century Riverside with view overlooking the river was quite beautiful, spacious campus with many trees was pretty cool. Food was also very good, especially Hue dishes and a reasonable price too! Overall, I'm satisfied when choosing this hotel.

Nice hotel on the river and close to restaurants and shops, I was sick for my stay and hotel was very comfortable, I didn't need to go far for food and they had a Dr on site, staff were very helpful.

Well, I am still sick and a lot worse than before, the 4 hour bus trip here wasn't too bad, a little scary on the other side of the tunnel, once the road narrows we were battling for position with log trucks and other tour buses, the driver jumped on the brakes pretty hard a few times sending the people on the bus in to a bit of a panic, the bus …

      The Bus Ride From Hell

A travel blog entry by katandhercamera on Mar 12, 2012

I left Hell, I mean Hue at 7am, when I went to purchase the ticket to Savannakhet I specifically asked if it was a VIP bus, not that I am VIP by any means but there are 2 types of buses here, VIP which generally means just tourists with a few locals but without any stops along the way and there is the Public Bus, I paid $20 for my ticket so I was …

... these freaky puppets throwing themselves around in water. Definitely not my cup of tea. I tried to get the jist of the storyline but what I thought it was and what it actually was, was very very different. Apparently it was meant to be a story on how the farmers couldn't fish or something (God knows) but I thought it was a fun rendition of "Noah's Ark" as there were loads of animals, dragons and water...... With puppets on boats and stuff, complete waste of a fiver if you ask me ...
