Century Riverside has stunning location, room was clean, campus was comfortable with a lot of tree. Restaurant was luxurious, yummy cuisine, especially traditional cuisine. I will comeback if possible.

Century Riverside with view overlooking the river was quite beautiful, spacious campus with many trees was pretty cool. Food was also very good, especially Hue dishes and a reasonable price too! Overall, I'm satisfied when choosing this hotel.

Finally made it. Up at 4 this morning, it's now 9.30 at night and we are
6 hours behind. Hue looks really exciting just at the hotel door, but far too tired to go for a look, showered and in bed, Graeme has just come back from a quick look and a beer. Said he's in heaven $1.30 for a beer, so he's cheap to keep since he only handles two and is asleep.

... mountain which had temples and great views, the Dutch girl couldn't handle scrambling up the marble steps, and she mostly watched me bound up them with my tablet in one hand and bag in the other. Once again growing up at the foot of Knox mountain paid off :)

After we were done snapping our photos we found our guide and finished the 30km ride to he city of Hoi An and I was about to experience the city that I apparently will "love".

... tall Elizabeth is way past the line. We agree; we aren't trying to scam Vietnam Railways. But we do some quick math and come to understand that he is asking for 60 000 dong extra. Hmmm. How to deal with this? We ask for a receipt, and it is clear that he doesn't understand, but he still says "Yes."

We have learned from our short time in Asia that many people will say yes to a question they don't understand to essentially save face and avoid embarrassment. ...
