... didn't like the connection, but we were expecting them to take advantage of it and have loads of merchandise.
After a long bus journey back to Tokushima, we headed back to the hotel to find our room was actually a designated smoking room so it was a little dingy, with some cigarette burns on the bedsheets. No matter, it was only for one night and breakfast was included so can't complain!

... As we were running out of time before the park was due to close we practically ran around the park and managed to do most of the 1hr & 40 minute walk in 30 minutes, whilst also carrying 15kg each!!
Naruto was ok if you're passing through it but we wouldn't recommend just heading there, so maybe a thumbs down. However, ritsurin park was beautiful and we would have liked to spend longer there so probably a thumbs up.
