Making our way

... the singapore exit immigration, then another long walk, up two flights of stairs, another walk, down two flights of stairs and then walk to the bus stop. The spot is just 100m from where the bus dropped us off. We got back on the bus which took us 1km across the bridge. There were a few people walking on it even though we read it was no longer allowed.

Then we were at the Malaysian immigration, which was a repeat of the singapore one - ie walking ...

... were running around with their head cut off! It must have been the rush from the festival they said, they had never seen the cafe so busy. The bus once again was relatively straightforward to use, expect we got yelled at by this old man for sitting in his set. Yikes! Oh and I also or yelled at by a bus driver for asking if this was the bus to Johor Bahru (which it in my mistake wasn't). We haven't found the people here ...

... we boarded, and dark 30minutes later when we got off. The views were fabulous, the company in the pod, not so much. We had this massive group of Chinese women who gabbled away the entire time! Oh well.

We then decided to set up camp on the river bank over the way from the gardens by the bay- a park of giant “trees” which are man made modern interpretations that light up. At certain times in the evening they put on a light show so we positioned ourselves perfectly ...

... we walk in the near by Chinatown where you get overloaded with ****** Chinese merchandise and clothes. We find the Chinese food market what basically is a big building with inside little stands where the prepare and sell all kind of different dishes. From Peking Duck, to Fishheads to dryed squit almost everything you can think of can end up on your plate. After all that food we decided to take a taxi to "The Garden at the Bay".
