    ... filled with play, tiny adventures, and getting to know each other. I think we learned quickly that he likes to run, which means he'll fit right in. He is a very active and curious little boy who seems to be extremely intent on living in the moment.     ... in with after sun only to realise it's shower cream!! Cians back is now totally rubbed in....All we can do is laugh! We pack our suitcases in sleepy silence and decide to go for a swim in the pool downstairs. Des sits in the shade under a thatched seating area surrounded by area koi carp pond, paradise he says!     ... Kunming, Guangzhou, Pingxiang – at the border to Vietnam). The other station, about half an hour by taxi, has bullet trains to/from cities as above. D-train.

    Nanning has two major bus terminals: Longdong (also with buses to Hanoi and HaLong Bay) and Jiangnan. Local buses serve the city, and most are 元1 per trip. Another way of getting around is a three-wheeled buggy that resembles a motorbike with two seats.

    ... just what you need after a 10 hour coach adventure. We bashered up in a cheapy hotel opposite the station and bought the first train ticket out of Nanning for Guilin the following morning.

    Now for the fun of trying to find some food...... every café, takeaway and restaurant menu was in Chinese and without photos. As for an English speaker, hen's teeth and rocking horse poo springs to mind. We ended up pointing at various food items in the kitchen and on ...
