... the activity. Steve and I looked after Aiden while Larissa had a play date. We had a lovely long walk this afternoon enjoying the sun. We stopped for a Starbucks iced coffee. ... riding, cycling, boating and fishing, and in summer swimming. At this time of the year the park looked very bleak with dried grasses and many deciduous trees. It also is home to many animals including deer, raccoon, squirrels as well as birds, but they were all hiding today. The lake has largemouth bass, crappie, white bass and catfish. ... to see the statues--many of them pretty real looking, but a few that didn't quite seem right. But is was a nice outing; they were not busy at all. I guess everyone else was out Christmas shopping.

We went on to the hotel in Arlington next. The traffic is just as bad as I remember. I don't miss that at all. We can see AT&T Stadium out Erin's room window. Ours looks over a honky tonk and the highway. We can also see Humperdinks restaurant ...

On that friday we had our last track meet,which went very well. I had a pretty good day and got third in long jump and the 800 meter race in the district. In total the JV boys won the district championship. It was a fun and also tiering day. Afterword Ricky came over for a lottle bit and Emma and Jules were giving a concert with their new song they just wrote. It was a nice evening to spend with one of my best friends ...
