... still in his bed "This isn’t Chengdu is it mate?" “It can’t be, we were supposed to get in around half one and then that’s without the delay last night, go back to sleep” I confidently replied. ... sit on their ***** and eat bamboo which they need to do for about 16 hours a day to get enough nutrition to survive. You can't help thinking, as lovely as they are, that natural selection has selected them to...well....become extinct. And with good reason what with the lack of fornication etc. But it's good you can still see them and the baby pandas were a lot more fun than the adult ones. They were playing around, falling off stuff ...

... a somewhat upscale restaurant, and proceeded to stuff ourselves on way more food than we should have ordered, but it was all delicious and beautifully prepared and presented. Too full to move, we called it a night and retired to our rooms. The weekend was terrific, but now we've got another busy work week ahead of us. Hope to at least get out in the evenings for more dining and sightseeing.

... into the red cliffs of Leshan overlooking a vast fast flowing river it is something worth seeing, most definitly! Getting anywhere is never completely smooth in China especially tourist attractions like this one. You really have to have your wits about you as there are so many people out to get your money. In this case the common scam is that you get in a taxi who says he will take you to the Grand Buddha park, and he will do that. Only there are several "Grand Buddha" ...
