... the entrance. That was our plan, but like many things on this trip, that is not
what actually happened. At the very first stop, we were kicked off of the bus

... while balancing a bowl with a lit candle on his head. It didn't matter that we couldn't understand all the words to the play, the meaning was quite clear and funny. ... s incredible varying landscapes - moon-like desert, snowy peaks, sand dunes and fertile grasslands full of yaks. In the early afternoon we stopped at Pang La pass.
