... porters, carrying people to the top of the mountain to the temple.

Another couple joined us in the shelter, a young man and his mother. He was accompanying her on a holiday. His mother was a retired teacher. It was so interesting, sitting on the hillside visiting with the Chinese people. Some spoke English, Our guide, Henry, translated for us. All were quite friendly.

Sorry, this is getting rather long, but a comment on the driving is called for. We pranged a car in Sicily earlier this year, after only 5 minutes. Here I get the feeling it would take 10 seconds. Anyway, we step our way 3km up the mountain, occasionally pausing for breath, water or just to cool down from the sun that sometimes peaks out of that large mass of clouds over there. Wait a minute, large mass of clouds? That doesn't look promising.... And it wasn't. We finally make the top and are ...

This morning was the last day for the gynecology dept. I really liked the doctor today, she was very engaging, patient and open to us working with the patients, etc. As usual it the whole procedure was done with remarkable efficiency and fast pace. The Dr sits at a large desk while med students around her get the general intake out of the way. File is then stacked to the side of the doc and the pt shifts over to sit in front of her. All pelvic exams, imaging, etc are ...
