... of all things cheerleading related, I loved walking around the museum and looking at all of the pictures of these stunts but that is all I thought the tour entailed. Little did I know that we were then asked to build a tower of our own. Jordan and Megan (two of my roommates who were in my group for the trip) decided to inform the head Castell that I used to be a cheerleader so I was asked to be on the top of the tower. ... Friday morning, and leisurely drive to Barcelona to our apartment booked again the day before, arriving midday.
We check out the neighbourhood, return the hire car, and head to Camp Nou (Barcelona's home futbol ground) to see Barcelona FC play Santos (that's Brazil if you're not familiar) in the Joan Gamper Trophy.

... street for a beer and a burger in Viena's (slightly different from the Paisley version!). Back to the room for a shower and prep for the morning, watched the end of a Chuck Norris film and after losing a couple of pounds in sweat noticed the fan in the corner!! It's midnight and still 29 degrees outside, nice! Time for a sleep, riding to Barca in the morning ...

think I'm “cathedraled out”! Jane “did” the cathedral and I
opted for a walk on the old city walls (not possible as it turns out)
and the mandatory cafe con leche. Still, I got on to the town's free
wifi and checked my emails while Jane had her culture fix....

Seabream and I had a **** steak! Heyho.... Even my cheesecake was
“plastic”. Still, I made up for it by making the most of the
shot bottles they left on our table. I wonder which of the three it
was that made my trip back to the “amenities block” quite so
